DECEMBER 2005 REPORT
December 2005

Sunday activities:

I shared in all the activities of the services, including preaching & teaching Bible class.

Wednesday activities:

I shared in all the activities of the Class.

During this month we had little activity in the streets, since customarily in these days the people of the world are more wrapped up in the Christmas activities than they are in the things of God.

I have maintained my visits to the contacts. I met a lady named Xiomara, through one of the sisters of the church. I began studying with her and she has shown interest. The last week of the month we will be traveling to the interior of the country to visit family, but she assures me we will continue to study once I get back in January.

Every Sunday of this month (and the last also) we had vi...[more]

FEBRUARY 2006 REPORT
February 2006

On Tuesday afternoons, in the company of Javier Alvarez (the preacher at the new congregation in Caracas) I went out to give out tracts, put up flyers inviting people to study the Bible on the walls, preaching, etc.

On Wed. afternoons I met with Brother Jose Ramon, so that we can study the Bible together. He has only been baptized a few months and asked me to study with him.

On Sat. the 11th a group of 7 brethren went out to preach the Word and pass out flyers inviting people to study the Bible.

I have 2 new contacts—two ladies, one named Berta and the other named Maria. Berta came to know the church some years ago through an aunt, but it wasn’t important to her at the time—she was young, but now has a lot of interest in studying. Maria knows some knowledge of the Bib...[more]

REPORT FOR DECEMBER 2007
February 2008

My activities on Sunday: I was in charge of opening and closing announcements and took part in every act of worship.

My activities on Wed: I was in charge of opening and closing announcements, among which was thanking the brethren who took part in the service.

Sunday the 23rd I preached at Palo Verde, at their invitation.

My work on the street this month was dedicated to visits with contacts because of the pagan parties of this month and the craziness of the people doing their shopping. Handing out tracts was not at all fruitful.

Below I want to give a brief summary of the work and its results in the year now ending.

In Jan. our sister Francisca was baptized. She is the wife of Brother Victor Aparicio, and both were members here until May. At that time they place...[more]

REPORT FOR NOVEMBER 2007
December 4, 2007

On Sundays and Wednesdays I participated in all aspects of the worship service and Bible study, including the teaching and preaching.

On Sunday the 18th (in the afternoon) my wife and I visited with the church in Palo Verde, to say goodbye to Brother Gregory Roark, who was leaving the next day for the USA, to see his family. The brethren asked me to lead the singing there. On Sunday the 25th, I again visited Palo Verde, this time because I had been invited to preach.

During this month there was a lot of activity visiting new contacts, all of whom we received from the ad offering Bible studies in the newspaper. They are 3 ladies, Elida, Victoria, and Berta—they are friends and have decided to listen to the Gospel message. I met 2 other people through our Sister Luisa—they ...[more]

REPORT FOR OCTOBER 2007
November 3, 2007

On Wednesday the 3rd, the church had invited Ronald & Gregory Roark to visit with us. Ronald is from the US and Gregory, his son, lives and works with the church in Cagua, in Aragua state. Ronald taught about the culture of a city and its negative effect on the things of God—an important and interesting study. On the 28th my wife and I visited the church in Palo Verde, who had invited me to preach.

During this month we continue to place the newspaper ad offering Bible study and tracts about the Bible, and just as in the past months, there was good acceptance of it by people from different regions of the country. From the city of Turmero, in Aragua state, a young man named Gabriel Garcia responded. I put him in contact with the church in Cagua, since the two cities are close.

I ...[more]

Report for February 2009
March 6, 2009

Thursday the 12th Teresa Caripa was baptized for the forgiveness of her sins. She is the Mother of our sister Cristina Caripa, who fell away for about 2 years and in Jan. announced her repentance and intention to return to the Way. Sister Teresa began to receive studies one day a week in her home. She had participated in the studies that we had before with Cristina, but did not make the decision to be baptized back then.

I continue to visit my contacts, as well as handing out tracts and preaching on the street.

Sunday the 22nd about 15 brethren from the church in Coro visited with us for services. Coro is in Falcon state, to the west of the country, about 8 hours by bus from the capital. They are also family by blood—brothers, uncles, nephews, cousins, etc. and were here vis...[more]
