COMMUNICATION WITH FELLOW WORKERS September – November 2006
Dear brethren,
I want to quickly get this note out with my report to let you know that my father passed away midnight Friday, November 25, 2006. He went very peacefully, and I must say that I am now even more appreciative of the hope that we share in Christ.
If the Lord wills, I will make it back to Arkansas for the memorial service. It is scheduled for Friday Dec.1, at Little Rock, AR. It has been nearly two years since I have been “home”, and this may be my first chance to see all of my brothers since...I can’t remember when. This will also give me a chance to make some preparations for our return move to Arkansas.
We must also balance our regular responsibilities with the tasks associated with moving away from Romania. Our greatest concern is for the spiritual welfare...[more]
COMMUNICATION WITH FELLOW WORKERS March, April 2006
Dear brethren,
I usually like to write a personal note to everyone receiving this report from me, but I cannot sit up for long periods of time because I must keep my severely sprained ankle elevated. Your brother, James

There is an appropriate time f...[more]

FOR EDIFICATION
Praise and thanks to God for His strength! I feel strengthened both physically and spiritually by the Lord’s power. I can walk normally again and therefore be more active in the Lord’s work, and I have been edified by various brethren that have come to Romania in the last couple of months. The Lord is the source of our strength.
In view of our moving back to the states early next year, I am concentrating on building up the church here. This includes teaching the brethren with a sense of urgency and teaching others while there is still time and opportunity. Hopefully, the brethren will also be better able to carry on the work of teaching others.
